It isn't really difficult to spot a scam. Even when applying job for a work at home, most companies would still ask for the following information;

• Resume
• Past experience
• References
• Salary requirements
• Educational/Character Background
• Personal Identifications
• Government Clearances, etc.

If a "work at home company" does not ask for these things, think quickly, Be Smart! Is
it logical?  Is it practical? Is it a risk?
Though, without those requirements would not necessarily means a scam but many times when a company does not ask for these things, you are most likely looking at a home based business opportunity. They probably plan on training you and they don't need any of this information. But it also means you'll probably have to pay a fee because no business can be started without funds.

Watch out for abusive Home-Based Business that offers training sessions. Ask the following questions;

• Will you be benefited on the training?
• Are they offering realistic information?
• If training is not free, would the fees are reasonable?
• What support you’ll get from the company?
• Are these offers legitimate and realistic?
