We can't deny the fact, that when we are in a new place, we certainly search for the best restaurant known in that town/city.

We arrived in our hotel in Puerto Princesa past 12 noon while our Korean Friends arrived earlier, and waiting for us. I knew they were so hungry already. So, since all of us were new here, we asked our hotel's driver to take us to a famous restaurant in Puerto Princesa...

Puerto Princesa, Palawan

1) BADJAO SEAFRONT RESTAURANT

So, the driver led us here to the "Badjao Seafront Restaurant". It was the perfect choice. A perfect lunch that warmly welcomed our stay here in Palawan.

Why not? Badjao Seafront Restaurant floats above the crystal clear seawater of Honda Bay with a narrow wooden pathway, surrounded by tall mangroves, going to the entrance of the restaurant. As we entered and sat at our table, we were amazed at the views, a picture-perfect Puerto Princesa's seascape. I imagined how stunning or beautiful the scenery of this restaurant during sunset and at night. My friends have admired the beauty of nature, its view, at every second of our stay.

"Dayon Camo", that's Palawano greetings for Welcome! Join us here in a very lovely ambiance and feel the sea breeze of Badjao Seafront Restaurant which offers almost your expectations from light snacks/meals to heavy ones, either a menu of the locals or International cuisine. Come here at Abueg St, Puerto Princesa, Palawan. They're open from 10AM daily.

2) CITY BAYWALK

During the night, our driver-tour guide dropped us at "City Baywalk" in Sandoval St, Puerto Princesa, Palawan. We've been here at night so we have not witnessed the beautiful sunsets but we've enjoyed chatting and walking around its pathways, relaxing on top of the dikes, have our dinner, and drinking spree...

I highly recommend that you come here to City Baywalk to the haven for lovers and hangouts for friends/peers. Stroll/bike (bicycle rent is Php 75.00 per hour) on a well-paved walkway right beside the bay, sit back and relax on the benches with beautiful lights from the lamp posts while munching mouthwatering delights/streetfoods or drinking ice-cold beverages that you bought from any of the various small food stalls managed by the locals or from some ambulant vendors roaming around, and feel the fresh air brought by the palm trees and enjoy the view of the bay with those sailboats parked nearby.

3) CHIKAAN Restaurant

The next night, we visited the "Chikaan Restaurant"; where our Korean Friends decided and try all-type of beers that the Philippines has to offer and they compared their beers in Korea. While Koreans enjoyed a variety of beers, we, Filipinos, also enjoyed a variety of juices! We're goodmen Huh!

Well, what we love here at Chikaan Restaurant is their excellent menu (bit slow serving but not a big issue for us because we were enjoying our drinks that were served first) and their live entertainment.

Guys! I do suggest visiting Chikaan Restaurant located at Dagomboy Village, Rizal Avenue, Puerto Princesa, Palawan. I think they're open from 10AM to 2AM daily.

4) VIET VILLE Restaurant

On our way back from Puerto Princesa Underground River, we had our dunch (lunch-dinner combined) here at Viet Ville Restaurant which offers authentic Vietnamese Food. It is located at Km 13, Barangay Sta. Lourdes, Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

According to their staff, their ingredients are directly sourced from Vietnam and adopted Vietnamese cooking techniques but slightly adjusted to suit Filipino tastes.

So, since we were so hungry, without too much thinking, we decided to eat Viet Ville Noodles that every one of us enjoyed its savory taste.

Our suggestion, you must see by yourself, visit Viet Ville Restaurant! They're open from 8AM to 9PM daily.
