Are you ready for a real adventure? Trekking and caving? Then, your waiting time is over! You'll witness stunning rock formations as you enter and crawl through open chambers and narrow spaces, where you can see various stalagmites, stalactites, and other rocky formations.
Join us in our adventure at Aglipay Caves and Campsites in Barangay Villa Sur, Aglipay, Quirino (Philippines). Aglipay Caves consists of thirty-seven (37) interlinked underground chambers. However, only eight chambers can be explored and opened to the public.
It may seem like a long way to go if you are coming from Manila, but if you are just like me, who is just from Isabela, this cave is just my neighboring province, Quirino. Don't be a foreigner in your hometown; discover hidden scenery in neighboring towns.
Yes, that's right! It's just my neighbor town, yet I haven't been here until today, and this video has been taken. Get ready to crawl, but be careful on a slippery path. Likewise, get fit on those small hole entrances.
It's too dark inside, hiding fascinating limestone formations, magnificent stalactites, stalagmites, and pillars, along with that cathedral-like chamber. It was so challenging, fun, and exciting to crouch and duck-walk as we went deeper, passing those low-height ceilings.
On our exit at Chamber 3, it's a nerve-racking experience. I thought I'd overcome those challenging passageways already. I've never considered such a risky exit, a death-defying exit on a slippery, muddy, wet, and stiff steel ladder that we all have to climb to get out! I was apprehensive about those kids with us, including my nephew, so I let them go up first to ensure everyone was safe. On my turn, my knees shook, and my heart beat so fast... I really wanted to end this adventure quickly. And thanks to God, it was a great relief when I finally got out! Guys, if you visited this cave, this is the thrill you've been waiting for... Please watch out for your step and really be careful!

Important note! Although the caves are only nearby each other, if you want to reach all the caves, you must have the energy and bottles of water because you will still be gasping for breath due to long walks and crawls both inside and outside the cave.
