On April 5, 2018, I have learned my very best lesson in life… that’s to stop because it is so necessary.

I was on the point of the continuing expansion of business wherein I believe I could benefit on either a huge quantity of output or lesser cost per output if I continually expand because I would save resources. I could use common machinery and just copying the products, services and marketing strategies of the existing branches of my business.
While this principle is true but I was wrong to consider the timing of my move for simultaneous business expansion.

When you have the money, the movement and decision are easy and fast. But I forgot to weigh-in the pros and cons of continued business expansion.  I just enjoyed the imagination of its profitability in the near future.
While it’s good to see that a business is expanding… However, would that expansion reflects the success of the existing business? If not then think again before putting up a new branch of your business.

In able to determine how and when to stop being aggressive on business, it is when;

1) no time for yourself and family,
2) without proven record or statistics or analysis that your main/first branch of business is profitable,
3) most of the expenses is coming from your pocket (not coming from the profit of the business),
4) decisions are so fast and pressured, and
5) source funds for expansion will come from a loan.

My Mom once said, “I hope my son will realize that his health is more important and valuable than making himself so stressful, tired, not usually sleeping the entire night just to oversee his business and his people. In the end that wealth couldn’t help him if he could get a serious illness.

Anyway, if my Mom is listening, I just wanna hug her and say "It’s not too late Mom, I heard you… just enjoy your stay in heaven. I would really take care of myself and our family than my business.  From this day, 5th April 2018, your advice is my command."

[Articles of this month will be entirely dedicated to the CEO’s Mother, in memory of her death on 5th April 2018.]
