This procedure is intended to provide general application guidance and establish controls during preparation and installation.
Electrical Lighting Fixtures Installation
1. Actual locations and mounting elevations are to be fully checked and it is referred to the IFC drawings prior to proceeding any installation works
2. Adequate access ways or scaffold ladders should be provided in doing such installation on high elevated locations.

3. Fabricate and install supports as what typical drawings and specifications specifies. All welded joints should be cleaned and properly primed provided that it obeys to an approved procedure and acceptable to any inspections.
4. Install all fixtures that comply with applicable provisions of the National Electrical Code and project specifications.
5. As stated in General Notes, elevation reference for pendant mounted lighting fixtures should be referred to the bottom of the fixture, and for pole or bracket mounted should be referred to the center line of the mounting box.
6. Install conduit in accordance with an approved conduit procedure.
7. Any lighting cables in outdoor and in indoor shall be stranded copper XLPE insulated with an overall PVC jacket and stranded cooper PVC insulated respectively, or otherwise noted. The sizes of this conductor are indicated in the lighting plan/schedule.
8. Ensure that the fixtures, receptacles and devices are connected to the proper circuit as called for in the panel schedule.
9. Ensure that the orientations of the lighting fixtures are correctly adjusted to attain an equally distributed level of desired illumination as per OWNER specifications.
